The Touring Weigh

After years of building careers in the corporate world, we decided it was time for a change — to step away from the everyday routine and create a whole new adventure.

Darren brings over 20 years of sales experience across the gaming and tyre industries. He’s always had a passion for connecting with people, enjoys all things sport (whether playing or watching), and loves being part of a community.

Trudi has spent over 15 years in sales within the housing industry, working across new homes and developments. She loves good wine, great conversations, and most importantly, spending time with family and the people who make life special.

Two years ago, we made the decision to leave the corporate world behind and start exploring Australia in a different way. Since then, we’ve been travelling, volunteering, and working our way around this amazing country — meeting incredible people and experiencing the true meaning of life on the road.

Before setting off on our own journey, we had our caravan weighed. That experience opened our eyes to just how important knowing your weights really is. Understanding your setup gives you confidence, helps protect your investment, and most importantly, helps keep you and everyone else on the road safer.

That moment planted the seed for The Touring Weigh.

We wanted to bring this service to fellow travellers — helping caravanners understand their numbers, travel with confidence, and enjoy their adventures knowing their setup is as safe as possible.

We’re excited to take this next chapter on the road and meet many more of you along the way.
